Joe graduated from Amherst College where he played ice hockey, Captained the golf team, and was Managing Editor for SportsAmherst Magazine. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and received his M.F.A. from USC's Graduate Screenwriting Program. In 2008, Joe left the entertainment industry to accept a position in Paid Search at, where he worked until the middle of 2011, when Joe and Jose founded Linfield Media.


Jose graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics. After Stanford, Jose moved to San Francisco where he joined a music and social networking start-up. In his spare time, he was Co-editor of, a popular blog that features photos of tech office spaces around the world. In early 2009, Jose moved to Los Angeles and joined Joe on the Paid Search team at where he worked until Joe and Jose founded Linfield Media.


Mel graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Art History. After graduation, Mel freelanced in the entertainment industry, focusing on art direction and production design for music videos and commercials. She eventually transitioned into a communications role at a web start-up created to help college students land internships. Mel met Joe and Jose in 2012, and became Linfield Media's first employee. She began on the ground floor, helping out with administrative tasks while she learned the business, but within six months she was managing Paid Search campaigns and fostering merchant relationships.  As President, she now oversees all aspects of the business.


Melissa graduated from USC with a B.A. in Communication. After graduation, Melissa ran the catering and special events department for The Chaya Group before obtaining her M.A. in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University. Melissa then began working at PromoJam, a social media start up, where she rose from Account Manager to Director of Business Development. In the fall of 2013, Melissa joined Linfield Media to manage Paid Search campaigns, to identify new business partners, and to help foster existing merchant relationships.


Cassie, a native Angeleno, received her B.A. in Communication from USC’s Annenberg School. During her time at USC, she took a gap year to pursue language and cultural studies in Rizhao, China. After graduation, she worked on the creative team at Darling Magazine, focusing on marketing and graphic design. In the Fall of 2013, Cassie joined Linfield Media to pursue her love for marketing, people, and technology.


Ben Polansky // Marketing Analyst

Ben graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Economics while also playing NCAA Division 1 baseball. During college, he founded Recruitstr, an athletic recruiting tool to help aspiring college athletes identify athletic scholarships. After graduation, Ben worked as a payment strategist for Silicon Valley Bank in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. In the Summer of 2017, Ben joined Linfield Media where he is primarily responsible for Paid Search Strategy and Analytics.



Originally from Israel, Oren moved to NYC in 1998 where he graduated from Hunter College with a B.S degree in Computer Science. After graduation, Oren worked as a Senior Java Programmer at SpaFinder. In 2005, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for innovation and technology at where he helped build and lead a successful team of talented engineers. In 2012, he launched a successful start-up. In April 2018 he joined the Linfield Media team. Oren is passionate about music, travel and technology.


Abbey received both a B.A. in Drama and an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Arkansas. After graduation, Abbey completed a theatre internship in Sacramento. In 2010, she moved to Los Angeles where she co-chaired the educational outreach program of a new theatre company. In the summer of 2013, Abbey joined the Linfield Media team to write blogs and manage web content.
